Diego Herrera has a long career as a
musician, composer and producer. Keyboard and sax player for
Caifanes one of the most outstanding Latin rock bands in the
90s, composed and arranged with the band in the first four
albums selling more than 3 million copies. Head of A&R
for BMG Mexico for 7 years producing around 200 albums for
artists like Caifanes, Maldita Vecindad, Juan Gabriel, Rocio
Durcal, Jose Jose, Alejandra Guzman, Marco Antonio Muñiz, Armando
Manzanero, Bronco, Fobia, Jaguares etc. As A&R director
he signed Julieta Venegas for BMG in 2000. Composed and produced
music for 20 feature films and around 30 short films. Six times
nominated for the Ariel Mexican movie award for best music
for film. Original music and sound design for "De la Calle" winning
the golden shell award at San Sebastián film festival, Mayahuel
prize at Guadalajara Film festival and MTV Movie Award 2001
as best song composed for movies. Original music for the short
film “The Message" Dir. Robert Amram ( Gold medal award,
New York film festival, B. Franklin Award PMA, Golden Eagle
Cine).

Hyundai,US cellular, Sony, Acer, Telmex, CNA, Chiapas tourism
council and cerveza Corona among many others.
